Dear Margo: I was sorry to learn that your father passed away. We lived close in Gary, you on Mathews St and I lived on 5th Ave between Hovey and Mathews. I was a Senior at Edison High School when you were in 8th grade. I can remember many summers seeing you Dad cutting the grass at your house with a push mower without a tee-shirt and enjoying the cool of the summer evening. What wonderful memories I have of your Dad from Grace Reformed Church. Our families shared many good times. Al always had a smile! He and my Dad enjoyed a good game of golf too! May God be with you in the days ahead. Keeping you close in thought and prayer.
