Alexandra Medvin Kern

Alexandra Medvin Kern, 59, passed away on December 27, 2014 at her home in North Miami Beach, Florida. Alexandra was the beloved mother of Max Samuel Kern and mother-in-law of Patricia Orquera-Kern, widow of the late Norman S. Kern, and the beloved daughter of Iris Marks Medvin and the late Philip David Medvin. Alexandra was born in Miami, the precious and beautiful first baby of her loving parents. Alexandra was a uniquely spirited individual who left a lasting impression. She always saw humor in life and had the capacity for great generosity and affection. Alexandra leaves a tremendous void in the lives of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Michal Medvin Hobel, Abraham David Medvin, Joshua Daniel Medvin and Mara Medvin Matthews and by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held at the Mount Nebo Cemetery chapel located at 5900 S.W. 77th Avenue, Miami, Florida (305) 274-0641 on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow. The family will receive guests after the services.
