Not sure what to say?

I am among those old high school friends who look bakc on our times with Alex with love and laughter. I guess I hadn’t seen her or heard about Alex for 20+ years, but it’s hard not to remember those who were once close just the way they were way back then …lively, smiling, vital, mischievous, sweet Alex. It is a thrill and a joy to read all these messages about how Alex affected the lives of others and grew to be even more beautiful than we remember her back then. Even now she is bringing...

Alexandra will be missed. I had the pleasure of working with her when she first arrived at Howrey Simon Arnold & White. To say that she was creative, is an understatement. Alexandra had an eye for beauty as she did apparently for her flowers. I believe that she has gone to a much better place where her sorrows are now over and her joy has just begun. God Bless You Alex.

I remember all the fun times we had
at Fairfax High.
I will always remember Alex for her
great smile and her kindness to all.
My prayers are with Alex's family.
Rest in Peace Alex.

I met Alex while working on a project in NYC for most of the year 2000; I will never forget her smile and funny jokes. She was always outgoing and vibrant; and always upbeat. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her, and she will surely, surely be missed by all. I will always cherish our dear, dear friendship. Always, My Friend!

I met Alexandra when she first came to work at Howrey & Simon. She was a wonderful person to talk with and organized the best company holiday parties ever. She will be always remembered by several co-workers at Howrey. Rest in peace Alexandra.

I remember Alex Porter for always being so bright, so together, so friendly. She holds a special place in the hearts of a lot of Fairfax High School alumni Class of 1974.. Rest in peace Alex

My fondest memories of my friendship with Alex were when, in high school, we would take off in her convertible Olds 98 (practically a tank) and go to Burke Lake Park to sunbathe. Also I spent the night at her house numerous times and we sat out on the little balcony of her bedroom and talked until the wee hours.
