So sorry to learn of Al's passing. Have not been around for a while and did not know of Al's condition. My prayers are with you with this beloved loss.

Al was the most amazing example of altruism and humility. He gave much of his time in service to others. I was a recipient of his time, energy, and love. I can honestly say that I would not be who I am today without Al. And his example lives on in me and in many others. My deepest condolences to Ellie and to Al´s entire family.

Al was special in many ways and will be missed by many. A kind and generous soul he had a most impressive relationship with the environment and the creatures therein.
