Not sure what to say?

Gilly and Carrie, Your dad and I were lifelong friends, beginning at San Diego's Hoover High School. During our SDHHS years in the 1950s, we SCUBA dived together from La Jolla sharing one set of equipment! While at Stanford, he drove me to campus from a Palo Alto over-the-garage apt and return. It was with great sadness that we learned of Al's passing. He was a compassionate man, loyal, and very intelligent. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and we enjoyed his company whenever we were with him. He is now in the company of his loving wife, Jean. Our condolences to his daughters, Gilly and Kerry. With Love, Barry and Mary Francke

Al was an outsmding lawyer represented us for many years! He was always thoughtful, calm and a class act. Honored to have worked with him over the years. Prayers to the family members....RIP Al

Although both long retired and off on separate non-legal paths, the thought that I can no longer call him up to get his take on whatever I was thinking of nor ever again pick up the phone and hear him say,...
