Fred was a very good friend of my husband's. He became a good friend to me and my kids. He was right there when you needed him. He had the best stories too. You sure left a whole in our lives my friend . RIP

I was a friend and knew Fred from Cherokee Schools. I was a year ahead of him. Fred had many layers that you had to peel back to see the real Fred. Fortunately I was able to do that and I was able to call him my real friend. The last time I talked to him he talked about his little grand daughters and how much he adored them and he wished he could live closer to them. He will be missed.

Too young to pass away. Fred was a year younger and I have fond memories of our time playing football. I will miss hearing his Facebook posts.
