Not sure what to say?

Al was a wonderful friend going back to our days at UMass when we were in charge of the summer intramural sports program. I saw him every year thereafter at the ACSM meetings; he was a good scholar and great man; I will miss him: all the best to his family;

I was so sorry to hear about Al's passing. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by so many. Wishing you and your family peace during this difficult time

"Want little: you'll have everything.
Want nothing: you'll be free.
I was happy because I didn't ask for anything."

(I found these lines by Fernando Pessoa you had highlighted once...)

Al was a dear friend in our youth. When I was in the Army, I visited him when he was in grad school at U of MD. Although I knew Jerry, I did not know Al's wife and children. Too bad we we failed to link as I had 2 kids with families in Fairfax. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Jerry and Roger,

My deepest sympathy on your brother Al's passing.

On behalf of the Astle family: Our thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with the extended Morris clan. We are sorry for your loss. But know that Al must have been proud of the great men his sons have become, and the families they are raising, and that was surely some satisfaction as he left this earth. Semper Fidelis
