I worked for Al, as his clerk, and with him for years at the NYSE. Wonderful man. Always in service to others and genuinely one of the most compassionate souls I have ever known. He will be profoundly missed by many. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you, Nan and family.

Al was a special friend whom I admired his loyalty to his commitment to Irish, American Catholic values. Say hello to Gov. Smith for me in Heaven. Mayor Ray Flynn of Boston.
