Alfred Tovar

August 6, 1936 - September 2, 2021 Alfred Munoz Tovar passed away, at the age of 85, on September 2, 2021. Alfred was born to Jessie and Marcelino Tovar on August 6, 1936. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Vera Alvarez and Marcelino Jr. He is survived by the love of his life, and wife of 64 years, Frances Tovar; his children Dolores Cordova, Debbie Tovar, Darlene Anzures; siblings Josie Cerda, Tony Tovar, Connie Nunez, Edward Tovar, and Juanita Tovar; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He worked for the Riverside Unified School District for 32 years and was a big Dodger fan. He provided a strong and stable presence for his family all of his life. He was our rock and he will be missed. Services will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary located at 7944 Magnolia Ave. in Riverside on September 21, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
