Alfredo Villarreal Obituary
Alfredo D. Villarreal Sr., born in Crystal City, TX, on November 8, 1929, went to be with the Lord, September 29, 2012 at the age of 82. He entered military service in 1947 with the U.S. Army until 1955, and served in the Korean War. He then entered Civil Service employment at Kelly A.F.B. and served as a civilian member of the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired after 30 years. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Beatriz Villarreal; parents Amancio & Esther Villarreal; brothers Alfonso, Arturo and Jose Villarreal. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his Son Alfred Villarreal Jr. (Lucy); daughter Stella Villarreal Dorado (Ricardo); grandchildren Veronica, Cristina, Isaac, Victoria; great grandchildren Olivia, Jacob; sisters Irene, Ella, Mary, Yolanda, Rosie; brothers Alonzo and Joe. A visitation will begin, Thursday, October 4, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, October 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
