Not sure what to say?

Dear Dale, Mac and Jesse - I'm so sorry to hear of our collective loss. Alice brought so much vitality, wit and wonderful irreverence to everything we did. I'll always cherish all those weird nonets we played because I got to sit next to Alice and enjoy her presence. It is a privilege that I got to know her these last few years at Marrowstone. Much love to you all,

Mr. Clevenger and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will remember Alice as the inspirational, effervescent teacher that made my Marrowstone experience special each time. Her warm personality, patience, strength and constant guidance helped me become a better musician, and more importantly a better person. She will be missed.

I so enjoyed hearing Alice perform last summer at Marrowstone. Please accept my sympathies. We will miss her!

To all of Alice's family, we extend our deepest sympathies. We so admired Alice as she moved along her cancer journey, always evidencing her life force. The strength of her performance with Dale at the North Shore Senior Center, several years ago, while in the midst of treatment, was admirable. She will be sorely missed and we are so sorry to see her go.

Dear Dale, Jesse and Mac, I just heard the news today and my heart goes out to all of you. Alice brought as much vibrant energy to the Marrowstone Festival as all of the young students put together.
I'm very saddened that she won't be back and I'm especially saddened about what this loss means for you, Dale, and for your family. Jeffrey Gilliam

Dale,
Alice added so much to our Marrowstone community each year that she came to the festival. Her positive and vibrant energy will be missed and remembered. My thoughts are with you and your family.
