Happy Heavenly Birthday Lumpy, love you and miss you every day

To the family of Alice, Our sincere condolences for the loss of Alice. We went to High School with Alice and have been in touch through the years. Heaven gained an angel. May she watch over you. Carol Cambareri and Richard Uliano

Will miss your calls, Alice. A true woman of Faith who was a dedicated worker for the Lord.

Thank you Mrs. Lumpkin for being a dedicated, caring and loving Spanish teacher at New Britain High School. You were my first African American teacher whom I looked up to with pride. You always modeled excellence and professionalism. You pushed me to be the best person I could be! Your caring and loving spirit will truly be missed. Love you. Love, Renee Hamilton-Jones

my heart felt condolences go out to the lumpkin family a beautiful person with a heart of gold riheavenly peace gone but never ever ever will be forgotten

I worked with Alice at New Britain High School in the 70´s. My first born son and her beloved son Derek were born in November 1977 and we shared many fun filled afternoons with or sons sharing laughs about being first time mothers and comparing notes. I will always remember Alice for her beautiful smile and laugh, endless joy and positivity. She is a light that will never be extinguished. My condolences to her family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Ms. Lumpkin was my former high school teacher very dear to me and my classmates. Nellie Cordero

Godspeed my friend.
