Alice Lumpkin Obituary
Alice Jean Lumpkin 84, of Windsor peacefully passed away Thursday April 3, 2025. The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday April 12, 2025, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Congregational Church 2030 Main St. Hartford, CT 06120 with a Funeral Service to follow. The burial will be at a later date, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Alice's Honor to Hampton University.

I worked with Alice at New Britain High School in the 70´s. My first born son and her beloved son Derek were born in November 1977 and we shared many fun filled afternoons with or sons sharing laughs about being first time mothers and comparing notes. I will always remember Alice for her beautiful smile and laugh, endless joy and positivity. She is a light that will never be extinguished. My condolences to her family.

Ms. Lumpkin was my favorite Spanish Teacher at NBHS in 1990! She was a great role model, very sweet, but she also had high expectations for her students and pushed us to study hard. Prayers for her family and friends.
