Not sure what to say?

What lovely tributes to a lovely lady. So sorry to hear of Alice's passing. You Packards left a grand legacy of goodness, energy, and service in the Tallahassee area. What a treat it was to find you in Washington, DC a few years ago! Much love to your family from those of us blessed to have known you.

Dear President Packard and family,
My heart goes out to you at this time of sadness. Having just lost another older brother I have a glimpse of the emptyness created in your lives. Family times will be bittersweet for a while. We do have the knowledge of knowing we can be together for eternity and I have no doubt that will be the case in this instance. As a young person growing up in the branch then ward we learned much from both Floyd and Alice. This part of the vineyard was blessed...

President Packard, we are saddend by the news of your sweet wife's passing. The two of you were certainly an influence for good, for many, many people throughout the world.
We are grateful to have known and served with you. I'm still available to drive your RV.
God Bless

My thoughts and prayers go out to President Packard and the his family in the loss of their wife and mother. President and Sister Packard were truly role models to us during our many years, as Marine assignments dictated, in the Carlsbad Stake, from 1955 to 1978.

Dear
Preident Packard & family, Our deepest sympathy to all of you. You
helped me & my family so much from the time we started coming to
church & I joined the church. At times it wasn't easy but you were
always there for me. We have so many memories, 47 years worth of them.
We are very grateful for Project Temple that Floyd & Alice were our
sponsors and because of that we were able to go to the Temple
and were sealed. Except for our son Bob who was 20 yaers old at...

What a fabulous lady! What I remember most about her was her capacity to work and her ability to make work fun. As a boy, when I would go over to the Packard home to play with David, Sister Packard would usually put me to work weeding the garden or helping clean the kitchen. (Of course, I also enjoyed eating the yummy meals before we cleaned the kitchen!) To this day, when I decide that I need to get some work done in a hurry, I tell my family that I'm shifting into "Alice mode". Thanks...

President Packard, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. We have always loved and respected you and Alice, ever since we first met you in 1957 in the old Oceanside Branch. All those years in Oceanside mean a lot to our family. We have great memories. Alice always made our children feel so welcome at your home. She is a wonderful lady, and we shall miss knowing that she is in this world with us.
