ALICE M. DIXON ROBERTSON age 91 of Waterford, formerly of Groton, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Pendleton in Mystic.
Alice was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 5, 1933.
She had worked as the office manager for the American Red Cross New London Office.
Alice is survived by her sons, Geoffrey Dixon (Virginia), Denis Dixon (Joann), Robert Dixon (Diane), her daughter, Christine Surdo (James), her stepdaughter, Christine Robertson eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her husbands George Dixon and James Robertson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 10 o’clock at the Colonel Ledyard Cemetery, Mitchell St Groton. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 until 7 o’clock at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to the Groton Animal Foundation, P. O. Box 7023, Groton, CT 06340.
