Alice Robertson Obituary
Alice was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Aug. 5, 1933.
She had worked as the office manager for the American Red Cross New London Office.
Alice is survived by her sons, Geoffrey Dixon (Virginia), Denis Dixon (Joann), Robert Dixon (Diane); her daughter, Christine Surdo (James); her stepdaughter, Christine Robertson; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her husbands, George Dixon and James Robertson.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Colonel Ledyard Cemetery, Mitchell St., Groton. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to the Groton Animal Foundation, P. O. Box 7023, Groton, CT 06340. Please visit www.byles.com to sign the guest book or share a memory with the family.
