Alice Forssberg Snodgrass

My sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, teacher and friend. Alice was a kind and loving friend and will be greatly missed. John, Mark and Amy please know I was truly saddened at her passing. God bless you all.

Dear Snodgrass Family, Of course she will always be Miss Forssberg to me! How lucky I was to be in her first math class as a sophomore and then move to AP calculus, and to be fully recognized in class, just as the boys always seemed to be by other teachers. Miss Forssberg invited a few of us to her apartment for dinner a few times. Unheard of at the time! I will never forget her and be always grateful to her for awakening the beauty of mathematics in me. Plus we all thought she was so cool...

I was so sad to hear that Mrs. Snodgrass had passed away. She was an amazing teacher and mentor. All of her students appreciated her humour and her gentleness. The annual faculty vs varsity girls' volley ball game was always great fun because of her enthusiastic play.

I´m so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Snodgrass. She was one of my favorite teachers, and fostered my love for puzzles. She showed me that women have earned a seat at the science and mathematics table, and she encouraged me when I couldn´t encourage myself.
