As an old friend from the Bronx, I want to say how saddened I was learn of Allan's passing. He was a classmate and street friend in the early 1960's. Part of Izzy's corner crowd on 166th and McClellan. RIP old pal.

We remember his smile, his laugh, and his joie de vivre.

BIG AL ALWAYS HAD A STORY, HE WAS ONE OF A KIND, HE WILL BE MISS BY MANY!!!

Allan, you were a great neighbor for 14 years. You were always so friendly. My son especially is grieved because he used to go outside and yell, at age 3, "Hello Neighbor!" and you always waved to him. Rest in peace friend. The Cook family

Big Al probably had the most interesting life of any one that I know. He was smart, funny and knew how to have fun and treat people right. He was good at many things and always made a lasting impression on everyone that he met. He worked all of his life until his elderly step father needed to be taken care of, which he did 24/7 until his step father passed away.
