Not sure what to say?

Working for Mr. Ecker for 11 years at Time-Warner was a happy experience; I shall always remember him as kind, courteous and thoughtful to all who knew him.

One of my fondest memories of Uncle Allan is of a trip home to Sparta, Wisconsin, for a summer visit. Aunt Liz, Uncle Allan and I got stuck at O'Hare Airport for many hours, waiting for our connection to La Crosse. After many delays, and being shuffled from one gate to another, children were tired, parents were hassled, the small gate area was overcrowded, and people were getting grouchy.

We'll always miss Uncle Allan.

Mr. Ecker will always be remembered by me because he offered to give me $5,000 to help me attend Harvard Law School. Though I did not accept he helped a lot of young people and was a great man and true lawyer who was advised mabny through their troubles. Condolences to Mrs. Ecker and Sarah.

I recently searched for Allan's contact information and was saddened to see his obituary. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Though my connection with Allan was only through working on his house he and Elizabeth treated me as a friend. We will cherish the memories and miss his presence at our Pietro's luncheons. He will not be forgotten. Allan was a true gentleman, legal craftsman, mentor, colleague, and good friend. His 90th birthday celebration will always be a special memory. Please know that you are in our thoughts. All our love.

Allan is my uncle married to my Aunt Elizabeth Rice. For over fifty years he has been a valued member of our family in Wisconsin. We will miss him terribly.

Allan is my uncle. He has been a valuable addition to our family. He is already missed terribly here in Wisconsin where he appeared regularly for over 50 years.

Allan was a wonderful neighbor and friend for many years. We will miss him and cherish memories we shared.
