At this very moment we would be cooking up ribs and potato salad for your birthday, but God needed his Angel home....There is not a day or even minute that I don't think of you and miss you....by the way, what's up with the marble in my bed...I have to tell ya, it was a beautiful one..one day it will be revealed....

Grandpa I wrote a poem for you!
For My Grandpa
I know we are feeling alittle bit sad, that we lost our grandpa, our friend and our dad.Together we have cried an ocean of tears, and I feel so empty and hold so many fears.
but Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place and he's watching us with a smile on his face as we have made him proud,as proud as can be that he has raised such a beautiful and special family.
I feel lucky and privileged to have...

Jackson loved his "brothers & sisters" and always said we are all God's children. I dedicate a poem I wrote to my dear friend and brother, Jackson!
TONIGHT AS I SIT AND GAZE AT THE STARS
MY MIND GOES BACK TO A TIME--
A SMILING PLACE, A HAPPY FACE,
ALL MY LOVE FOR A DEAR BROTHER OF MINE.
DAYS AND WEEKS OF MEMORIES
ARE WHAT'S LEFT OF WHAT I KNEW--
MY HEART IS HEAVY, MY SPIRIT IS SAD
FOR UNSHARED MOMENTS WITH YOU.
YET AS I SIT HERE...

Jackson at Genisis
I had the pleasure of spending time with Jackson as his caregiver. He tought me so much, especially how to cook. Things like barbeque sause, apple butter, jambali, and even ox tail. We would sit and talk for hours or play cards clear into the night, and he always won. EXCEPT, a couple of nights before he passed on. I had the pleasure of going to Genesis with him on Sunday, and he said he only let me beat him because I went to church with him. His memories of him will live on in my heart...
