Dear Pam, Mal and I are so saddened hearing of Allan's death. Allan was a very special person who was so generous with those around him. We were relieved to hear that he died at home, in peace and in the presence of those he loved and who loved him. Thank you for sharing Allan with us. Love, Sandra and Mal

Pam: Allan was one of those rare individuals who comes into ones life and leaves an indelible mark. I know he did in mine. As Joseph Campbell put it, Allan followed his bliss, and we who knew him are the better for it. I will miss him and my thougts and prayers are with you at this time.

Pam, I represented Allan in a matter here in Nevada and he was our architect on two remodeling projects in San Francisco. What are we going to do without him? He was the consummate professional with the eye of an artist and knowledge to make his/our vision a reality. My husband and I think of him often when we are enjoying our beautiful condo in SF. Pam, as you know he was a first-class guy and we will miss him everytime we walk down Union Street. Our Best, Tom & Linda Johnson

I just learned of Alan's passing and cannot tell you how shocked and saddened I feel. He was a terrific person in every respect. One of the finest people to come out of our Memphis generation.

The breadth of Allan's warmth and wisdom was bi-coastal, reaching our family in Montclair, NJ. To employ a favorite phrase we first heard from Allan, "the ocean we swim in" feels much emptier with his passing.

Pam, What is wonderful other being is the couple that you and Allan created. That relationship and all that it meant to those who knew you, to all the lives that you and he touched, lives on. Thinking of you,
