Dr. Rap was a tough but fair instructor, and was one of the very best LSUSD had to offer when I attended between 1996-2000. He no doubt made me a better dentist. Rest in peace, Dr. Rap.

Dr. Rap's influence helped me be a better person and a better dentist. As dental professors go he was my favorite. He held himself and his students to a high standard that propelled and motivated many to achieve more. I am so very grateful to have known him. Thanks for everything Dr. Rap. You're the best.

Dr Rappold was my distant hero in the early 1960s. I felt lucky and very proud that he called me a good friend in the 2020s. He was so proud of his
granddaughters. I will miss him so much. Condolences to his family.

Brian and Family,
We are so saddened to learn of Rap´s passing. He was an excellent teacher and colleague and the most excellent clinician that I ever known. Amidst the sadness there is joy in knowing that he is reunited with his beloved wife, Madeline.

As a teammate of Alan and longtime coach, I can say that he was the toughest Running Back I have ever seen. I was a Guard in front of him and every time I had to pull and trap, I knew that if I didn't get there fast enough, he would run right over me. When he graduated he

Graduated with him at Holy Cross and was a classmate. He was the epitome of class and humility even at that young age. One hell of a running back.
