Yesterday, I learned of her passing. . . I had been trying to call her to explain why I couldn't visit in person, but the # I had for her kept going to voicemail. Allana and I met when we worked at Concord Hospital back in the 70s. Then in the early 80's, she introduced me to Jay who was also on the Epsom Rescue Squad. Jay and I got married in 1985. Not only was Allana a great person, she was SUCH a GREAT coworker & friend. I could tell her anything, no judgment; she only gave advice when I asked. I am still crying, missing her, and didn't get to say goodbye. . .

My condolences to the family - Shelley, Shawn, Kaile, Trenton, Liam and Grace. I didn´t know she was in the hospital. I use to visit her when I was in Concord. We went on some wonderful trips together. We would no more than get home from one trip and she would be planning another. I will miss her a lot. I lived an hour away, but we stayed in touch by phone. She was always available for advice. She had a very adventuresome spirit and was always a very strong person.

OMG I didn´t know she was in NH or I would have met up with her. I have some great memories of your Mom, rescue, ambulance. I laughed more with her on trip to Canada, but I was always the one that got in trouble, she would talk her way out. Smart, witty, and professional, quite a gal!

Allana and I worked together in the ED at Elliot and also as Nursing Supervisors watching over all the goings on thruout the hospital. For some reason, I called her Avella, perhaps her angel name. One night, I reported off to her and attempted to leave but I got stuck in the elevator. Allana made sure she got the fire dept as quick as could be and got me out so I could go home!
RIP Avella, fly high! Your work here is done.

Shelley and Shawn,
I am sorry for your loss.
I remember Allana when I was a kid. My father, Raymond Towle, lived next door in Epsom and he and Regina were close friends of your parents. I had fun hanging out with you and having sleepovers. She was a great mother and a very kind person. Those were fun years with your family.

Shelley, Shawn & Family,
My thoughts & prayers are with you & family at this sad time. We had lunch with mom a few weeks ago at the Olive Garden. I picked her up at the house she was having a hard time walking & was short of breath. I wish I had known she was in the hospital I would have gone to see her. She will be missed by many she was a trooper. RIP my friend. I hope I´m in NH for her celebration of life.
