Not sure what to say?

Sorry for the loss. I was one of his limousine business customers very early on. I also did printing for his business. He was always a gentleman! Very enjoyable to have known him.

Al worked as a Chairman of the Morris County March of Dimes in the early 60´s. I remember Al coming to our home for March of Dimes meetings. He left tickets for us at The Polo Grounds in New York for a game. He was umpiring third base and in between innings he said hello to us. As a child I remember Al as a "nice man," Who always had a great smile to share. My privilege to have met him when I was young. Greg Petro

My name is Art and I was saddened to hear of Al's passing recently. In my early 20's I worked with Al for Seagrams Distillers in NJ. We worked as a team calling on customers across NJ. Being young and impressionable, Al always bestowed his wisdom and humor on me. We both left the Distillery (40 yrs ago) about the same time and lost touch . But every now and then I would think of Al and some of the great stories he would tell me about being a MLB umpire. Rest in Peace my old friend.....

I have many fond memories of Big Al, beginning with the first time Nancy, his step-daughter (who is my step mother) brought my siblings and me to The Lake in NJ. Big personality ... Big in life ... Big Al. We love you!

Dear Gene & Family
We were so sorry to read of Al's Passing, We remember his kindness to our daughter and her friend many years ago when he brought them down to Avon from Norfolk.
May he rest in peace.

We will miss Uncle Al as he really was as close to me and Teresa as my Dad, Norm Boudreau. Uncle Al was my second Dad, attended many of my football games in college and was behind the plate in several college games! Always positive and fun loving. I will remember great times at Lake Hopatcong, Kitty Hawk and here in Atlanta with Al and Eleanore!
