I LOVE YOU DAD!! MISSING YOU LIKE CRAZY.

I served with Allen on the USS PYRO during his time in the USN. Al was well loved by all the crew and was always lifting up our spirits and moral with his sense of humor and love for his shipmates. Allen and I shared an apartment together with two other shipmates and you could always count on a good time when he was around. I've thought about him often these many years and I am heartbroken that he has passed. I'm going to miss him but we are all better people for having known him. My...

Dear Dad,

I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday
And the days before that too
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
Now all I have are memories
And your picture in a frame
Each morning when I awake
I know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As I try to carry on
My heart aches with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you

"All Day Allen"

We were so sorry to hear of Allen's passing. I knew him through his brother Dennis and played some softball and basketball together. Although I have not seen Allen for 20 years, I fondly remember those times.

I remember Allen from Baker School he was a Great person and a good Basketball Player.
