Allen JB Robinson

Allen and I were next door neighbor and became get friends over the years on Hilton Head Island, SC. This news is a shock to me. We were often golfing buddies. Allen and his son Boykin were the snake charmers in the neighborhood. Often coming over and dispatching a non-friendly type. I am so sorry for your loss Maggie. He was a great man. I am lucky to have met Allen and his fur babies, and to have gotten the chance to adopt a couple of my own. I always loved, and looked forward to, when he came in to the shop with his little wooden box, filled with tiny fur balls. I take my squirrels with me to work most days, and it amazes me how many people ask if I got them from the squirrel man. Who could ever forget him?! He seemed to be such a gentle soul, and his visits will be...

Known simply as the squirrel man at the local grocery store, he was quick to make friends with us there. We looked forward to seeing and being educated about the flyers while he popped in for a visit. I definitely remember Rosy, although I'm sure he brought others in at times. My thoughts go out to those that lost a great friend and I pray that you find comfort in reading others memories of the lives he touched.

We will miss you Allen. I have been reflecting on our many trips together- mostly golf Pebble Beach several times, Annual Mid Pines tourney, , Ireland, Scotland, Cuba, Colorado, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, Charleston NYC, and more. Many great days on the links and elsewhere with Allen. Also, Allen did a good job for me for many years as a financial advisor. He is gone too soon and will be missed.
