Dear Phyllis and family,
As a novice Frustrated Maestro,I only had the privilege of playing under Al's direction one time, but his warmth and genuine concern for "his" band members left a lasting impression on me. He made each of us feel as if we were the most important player in the orchestra, and I'll never forget how he came up to me on the last day of the rally and thanked me for participating. He was and is a true gentleman. The world will just not be the same without him.

To Phyllis and Family, Reggie & I have so many fond memories of Al and are very saddened to hear of his passing. May his love and energy continue to thrive through you and your loved ones. We will miss him.

So sorry to hear of your loss, my condolences. I always enjoyed Al's company and could talk with him all day. He truly will be missed.

Phyllis & Family,
It was an honor and a pleasure knowing Al. He was extra special. Everytime I play in the North Miami Concert Band, I think of him and I will always see him sitting in front of me.
My Deepest Sympathy to you and your family,
Sandy Weinberg
