Not sure what to say?

Al's life was devoted to service. He put God, his country, and others before himself. As a student at Holy Apostles, I appreciated all that Al did for us, but at that age, I was too naive to grasp the true caliber of this man. I am grateful that I had the opportunity as a grown man to shake his hand and thank him for the sacrifices he made for our country and for all he did for us at Holy Apostles. What a legacy his life leaves behind! I am lucky to have known you Al, God Bless.

I’m not sure Al understood what an inspiration he was to others.

What a phenomenal man.

Al was truely a dedicated and loving person. I think of him often (especially his patince) as I work with my own students. He has been an inspiration to me from the first moment I met him. I also think of him when I bring my children to Chuck-E-Cheese although I don't have quite as much fun now as I did back when Al took us. Al, you will be truely missed. God Bless You!

I knew Al from my days as a student at Holy Apostles. I have so many great memories of Al...the bowling league, the reunion at Kuglitches, McDonald's gifts for every student, the Lion's Club corn roast, HA fish fries, and getting flowers from Al on my 16th birthday. He would call me "sweet and sassy" and had a nickname for everyone. He never forgot a name or a face, and I know we will never forget Al.

I will miss you with all my heart. Thank you sharing yourself with me and the thousands of others you have touched. You were an incredible person, a wonderful friend and the most amazing man I have known. I will love you forever and I will truly miss our morning talks.

Stigler Family - Words cannot describe how we will miss Al. He was so good with the children at Holy Apostles - from helping them with their math to keeping them in line in the hallways. I had the pleasure to volunteer with him in the lunchroom. He was a great man with a generous heart.

God Bless you Al!!

Al will always be remembered fondly by those of us whose lives he touched~whether through Holy Apostles, coaching bowling or sharing some laughs at Chumley's Pub. Al was a kind, compassionate man with a heart of gold and a true friend to so many. Our lives are richer for having known this wonderful man! Rest in peace, dear friend.

Al will truely be missed! When I think back to grade school at Holy Apostles, I think of Al and of his love and generosity. Coaching baseball/basketball, trips to Chuck E Cheese, helping kids with academics, serving the 8th grade breakfast and serving the New Berlin community... the list goes on and on! He was a true steward of God! There will never be another like him! We have been blest to have known him and are confident he is at peace in heaven! He will live on in the hearts of...

I knew Al from his love of baseball as well as children. He was a man among men who welcomed all. A person to be greatly cherished and missed.
