Not sure what to say?

I remember listening to Jazz in the Nighttime on WEBR usually in the evening when we could pick up a signal, in the late seventies and early eighties hosted by Al Wallack. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Robert Freeman Toronto Canada

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Al was a longtime friend and very talented professional. He also had the best sense of humor of anyone I know. He will be truly missed by many, many people. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let me know about his celebration of life.

My condolences to the Wallack family. Al was a wonderful neighbor and I enjoyed our many conversations and his sense of humor over the years. Rest in Peace

For decades, countless musicians, promoters, jazz fans and radio people benefited from his talents, hard work, guidance and generosity. Al was one of the most gifted story tellers I will ever know. That, along with his incredible sense of humor and his love of music made him a natural for the radio. Both on-the-air and off, he was the same humble,...
