Not sure what to say?

The memories of Allen's cheerful banter and the pleasure of his company during many social gatherings at his home in Salisbury still linger. My sincerest condolences to all who are left to remember him. God bless.

We've had to let you go in order for heaven to gain their angel.

One of the greatest, sweetest, caring young spirited man I have ever had the privilege to get to know, spend time with and learn from. LOVE YOU ALAN WINTERS! Rest in paradise! See you on the other side.

Jim and I were very sorry to hear of Allen's passing. We bought his Muncie home in 1993 and celebrated our wedding in his beautiful back yard. We have tried to maintain his lovely gardens and they continue to bring us much joy. The gardens are a tribute to his talent and aesthetic. God bless Allen.

Kim, Jon and family - Allen taught me so much about gardening and nature in our 7 years of working together at Christy Woods. His humor made even the hardest jobs enjoyable. My condolences to you for your loss.

Allen was a very dear and gentle man. He always had a smile. I remember him from St. John's. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you Allen for being there for me when no one else would and understood more than anyone ecery could. Rest in Paradise my beautiful, caring, loving friend.

Allen was a warm, compassionate, intelligent, humorous, and thoughtful person who loved people and fellowshipping with those that he cared for. He has touched so many people's lives and his wisdom has impacted my own. On occasions, he would host dinner parties and brunches at his home and loved to instill happiness inside those he loved to be around. I am so appreciative and thankful for all the numerous wonderful conversations and quality times we have shared with one another over the...

To Jon and Kim and family,

I was always fond of your father, and of course, your wonderful mother. Your dad always made me laugh. My thoughts are with you.
