Ms.Shores passing is like the end of an era to Me! She affected so many of us that played Field Hockey for Her in Colton! Made us all stronger Women and taught us to dig deep to pull out the strength We didn't know We had! RIP Ms.Shore

RIP Allene. My condolences to your wonderful family and Elinor. You are so missed. Your legacy with the young people you influenced at Colton High School will long endure.

Ms. Shore was an amazing field hockey coach. Hands down she was the best coach I have ever had the honor of playing for her. She was a positive influence in my life as well as in the lives of so many young girls at Colton High. She was always kind and positive; she motivated us to do our best both on and off the field. She was instrumental in me attending San Jose State to play field hockey and receive my degree. I will be forever grateful for her giving me that opportunity. Rest in peace...

R.I.P. Ms Shore you were loved by many and you will be missed emensly. I only played JV Field Hockey and I loved that you treated us all equally. CHS Class of 1976

Ms. Shore was my field hockey coach at Colton High in 1973-74. She was an awesome coach and inspired me to dig down and play my best. I always loved her for her kindness. May the Lord open His loving arms and embrace her.

Condolences to Allene Shore's family. She touched so many lives at Colton High School. She was remembered in our facebook posts. Class of '62.

Ms Shore taught the combo PE class that had a profound influence on my life. I learned to play field hockey and Badminton. I later went on to become a CIF champion in badminton with my partner Marcie. Thank you, Ms Shore for your dedication to others.

When I joined the CHS staff in 1983, Allene's warm Southern hospitality welcomed me into the fold. She and Elinor Neafsey were the impetus for bringing the staff together to have fun - and what memories we all cherish of those times. My condolences to the entire Shore family, and...
