Alva was a great cousin and friend to my mother Pauline Gardiner Carlson on earth, and now she can greet another cousin in Paradise.

Bishop Greene was one of the first bishops that I remember. I remember the excitement of my own dad when he was called to be mission president. We still think of their Mobley house as where "the Greene's lived." Our love to your family, Jeff and Kay (Sorensen) Bunn

What a wonderful and great man Alva was. He has gone on to do even greater work as a faithful, dedicated Latter Day Saint. He excelled in every way. I knew him as a Scouter, and in other ways. We need more men like Alva in todays world. Thanks Alva for all you contributed here in mortality. you set the example for all.
