Alva Roop Obituary
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10 AM to 12 PM, at which time a memorial service will begin. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alva's name to the Billy Graham Ministries at www.billygraham.org.
Condolences may be left for the family at

Alva was definitely an angel on earth! We worked together at Franklin Square for many years. She was always a hard worker, and so giving! Always bringing snacks and baked goods into share. She was famous for her prune cake. We were usually first to arrive for work, and it always made me smile to see her little blue car. It was always a better day with her there. We spoke often on the phone, and kept each other in prayer. She walks with our Lord now. She was beautiful inside and out. I loved her dearly.
