Not sure what to say?

I was a student at Washington High School whem Ms Schenck was preparing great meals for us. I did not realize it at the time but, in a conversation with her during one of my visits to North Carolina I learned from her just how concerned she was for the students and the hurdles she had to jump over to give us the meals that she felt we needed.

I was also a classmate of one of her children, Johnny, and knew the the others.

I will always have mmories of our conversations...

Johnny,my prayers and condolences goes out to you and your family during this time of grief.I remember your mother when she worked in lunchroom at Washington school when we were going to school.

It was an honor to help take care of Alva Jay at Carillon assisted living. She was a precious lady and we loved her very much. What a wonderful legacy she leaves.

May God always give you peace and comfort as you go through this time of bereavement. You mother will be missed by many.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
