I just learned of Alvin Dworman's passing. It has been many years since I have been in New York, working with his brothers, Lester and Darryl. They were my mentors, at a time when others could not be bothered. I am forever grateful for their advice, friendship, and sincerity. Their office was like a second home. I will never forget them. My condolences to the Dworman family. God bless you always.

This was a great American with whom I worked as a lawyer in Washington DC for many years. All the U.S. Senators from New York, especially Sen. Moynihan, considered him a friend as did many Senators of both parties from other states. AD was one of the most brilliant men I have been privileged to know. Yet AD was so much more than brilliant. I had the fortune of working at one of Mr. Dworman´s real estate properties he developed and operated in Santa Barbara (the beautiful Bacara Resort & Spa) and he would always take the time to stop and chat with every team member and thank them for their hard work and commitment to creating lasting memories for our guests. So sorry to hear of AD's passing. Wonderful obit, right on the money! I'll never forget walking on Madison Avenue with my 6 year-old son, (at the time), Manny, and running into Mr. Dworman, and he said, "How's your big guy"? and he engaged in conversation with him.
