Not sure what to say?

I still find myself thinking of Dr. Stein all these years later and at first, it makes me smile and then I feel sad that he is gone. I was fortunate to be one of his patients that he successfully treated. He was a wonderful soul.

Still missed. A giant of a man, with a giant heart, and a giant mind.

Dr. Alvin Stein had such an incredible dedication to and skill at healing patients. For this and more, his life is celebrated and remembered with joy and respect.

Dr. Stein did a talusnavicular fusion on my right ankle in 1968. It was the first of its kind and he did a magnificent surgery that not only gave me the ability to walk normal, but gave me the ability to continue my martial art training to become a master black belt instructor and it became my career of 48 years of teaching. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Al, as he was called by not only his staff but by his patients, was truly one of the best in his field! He gave so much of himself, even after his neck had been broken in a car accident. I remember seeing him walking into the patients rooms wearing the cage on his head. He didn't let anything stop him. I had failed back surgery from amdr in Miami. As a last resort, Dr. Al injected my back numerous times with Prolo Therapy. It worked wonders for me! I will always be grateful to him for all...

....I WAS STUNNED...AND SHOCKED WHEN THE OBITUARY PAGE CAME UP WHEN DOING A SEARCH FOR HIS WEBSITE--AND WHY I HADNT HEARD HIS SHOW RECENTLY.
HE CHANGED MY LIFE!! HIS KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION OF IT, REGARDING NEUROTRANSMITTERS/RELATED WAS SIMPLY THE B E S T !! MY GRATITUDE FOR WHAT HE 'GAVE', AND CONDOLENCES/SYMPATHY AND COMFORT TO HIS FAMILY AND LOVED ONES.....

He was a giant in the history of his alma mater, The Chicago Medical School. Rest in peace.

Dr. Stein gave me my life back after treating a chronic SC joint dislocation. He also gave my life direction - I wanted to follow in his footsteps and I applied to medical school. In a few months I'll be graduating from UVA and specializing in PM&R. I hope I can be a fraction of the physician Dr. Stein was. He left the world a better place and I will always remember him. My condolences to his family - he was a great man.
