Not sure what to say?

Al was a fixture at Maine State Parks and I enjoyed talking with him often as we worked there and went to coffee breaks in the building next door. He and others sometimes had engineering delema's. One stands out, being whether the angle brace on an outhouse door should be from the upper hinge corner to the opposite low corner... or from the opposite corners. (IMHO, it doesn't really matter.)

I was sorry to hear of Al`s passing. I enjoyed the way Al would explain how various projects had to be done and why. We worked together for 28 years . I miss your friendship Al., R.I.P. dear friend. ---- Joe Forti, retired regional Supervisor of State Parks.

We pray for peace after your loss of Al. What a long life he had. Although he is gone from your sight, he is still in your heart. Know that we have been thinking of you and your family.
With our deepest sympathy,
Nancy & Larry Perkins

Rest in sweet peace Al. Your contributions to our beautiful state parks will forever remain living memorials

So sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of him and his amazing sense of humor. You both made me feel so welcome when I became your neighbor, many years ago.
