Mrs. Wilson and Family,
I just learned today of the passing of the most interesting gentleman I ever worked with. AT's quick wit, attention to detail and ability to thoroughly analyze any situation were characterictics those of us who worked closely with him at Columbus Tech have always respected and emulated. He had a tremendous effect on my life and career at CTC. I know you all have fond and interesting memories of him...I certainly do.

My parents lived in the other half of the duplex with A.T. and Emma in Germany in the late ‘60’s. It was the summer of 1968 when I was home from college that A.T. took it upon himself to find the right prospective husband for me. I believe I may have dated every hand-selected eligible lieutenant in his battalion at his behest. As it happened, that was the summer I met Michael who was the selection of another neighbor. Michael met with AT's approval. He and my Dad agreed that Michael was the finest company grade officer they had ever seen and there was no more important qualification for marriage. That put an end to my dance card but your Dad stood at the ready to renew the search if anything went awry. Michael and I celebrated our 40th anniversary last month.
I have such fond memories of him as one of the most dignified yet down to earth patriots I have known. My love and prayers to Emma and the family.
