February 11, 1994 - August 5, 2009 On February 11, 1994, a tiny child was born. We named her Alyssa. But, Alyssa was too long a name for this pint-sized child, and she was quickly dubbed Aly. And Lovey. And Poo-Bear. Or just Poo. On the night of August 5, under the brilliant light of a full...

Not sure what to say?

.........My family and I moved from Ferndale to Bellingham when I was in the fourth grade. It was a pretty tough transition for my siblings and I to leave all our friends and go to a new school. But on the day we moved in, Lynda, Shaun and Aly arrived at our front door with a batch of brownies and a welcome, and from then I knew we would be okay.
For about three years Aly and I would spend hours outside on the trampoline, her always teaching me new flips she learned in gymnastics. I...

Dear Lynda & Family. I am saddened to read about another young, beautiful life being taken too soon. I can feel for you all so much. It reminds me of the loss of my two young children many years ago. I was very angry at God for a long time, but I soon could feel his love and guidence to help me survive the trauma. My family and friends were my salvation and helped me to deal with that difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I hope that you...

Dear Lynda and family. Words can not express the sorrow we feel for the loss of your beautiful daughter Aly. We loved coaching her in gymnastics as she always gave us her best. She was a ray of sunshine on the cloudyest day. We were proud of her in gymnastics and swimming, and honored to have her as part of our Leading Edge North family. Our deepest sympathy always.

Aly, our beautiful daughter

Oh Aly, how sad we all are. I know you are having fun and keeping busy in heaven but our hearts ache to see you again. Jazzy will miss out knowing you. Hannah and Zoe will miss you painting their nails and helping them swim. May God bless you and keep you safe until we meet again. It was an honor to be your aunt and uncle.

To the Fell family, I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Aly as a classmate, and I remember what a friendly, determined, and bright personality she had. She was a wonderful student, and though I never saw her swim, I heard she was wonderful at it. Me and my family's prayers are with you.

Aly was a remarkable young woman in so many ways, but was always so humble about her talents and abilities. Her radiant smile and sweet personality brought out the best in everyone here at Windward. She didn't miss a thing in Spanish, and I had really looked forward to having her in class. "Perla", you will be deeply missed! Fell family, I pray that God comforts you and gives you some peace.

May you find comfort and peace knowing she is in God's loving arms and that you'll see her again in heaven. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

Dear Lynda, Yvonne & Lyle and family, We wanted to let you know you are in our prayers...To lose a beautiful child as Ally is too much to bear...May God be with you in your sorrow... Love Helen & Bob Burger
