Our wonderful MOM, and the beloved WIFE of the late Obie Lorenza Logan for 50 years, passed peacefully of Alzheimer's disease, into the loving arms of God, at her home in Silver Spring, MD on July 1, 2025.

Peggy was formerly married to the late Clarence Leroy Ross. They raised three children.

Moms hobbies included piano playing, crabbing, fishing, attending classical theater productions and concerts, and visiting museums. She was a Civil War buff. Loved documentaries, reading biographies and books about travel and countries, and spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy dedicated more than 30 years to teaching 3rd grade students in Prince George' s County Public Schools. As an educator and mentor, she positively impacted the lives of so many and was loved and adored by countless youth.

In her sparetime, her passion for educating children, prompted her tenure as a World Book Encyclopedia Consultant focused on providing minority communities with the important books.

Mom showed our family and others, by example, how to live a fulfiling life. She taught us how to be honest, to care for others, and to place our trust in GOD.

Peggy, who was born in Sharpsburg, Maryland, is survived by her loving children: Stephanie Ross, Clarence Ross, Edison Ross; Neila Gunter Ingram, Reverend Langston Logan, Sr., Dwayne Logan, Mary Simpson and countless dear family and friends. Peggy's private home-going will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Colesville United Methodist Church followed by a private interment at Gates of Heaven Cemetary.
