I hadn't seen Mandy in many years but we were classmates together since the 1st grade. I am saddened to hear of her death and hope the family finds the strength to persevere.

I feel honored to have known them and blessed that their passing serves as a reminder to me that my time on this beautiful earth is limited and that I should seize the opportunity I have to forgive, share, explore, and love. Mandy and I became great friends when I had to leave Fleetwood Elementary and attend Richmond in 5th grade. Spent many days together at her farmhouse near Fleetwood. I will always remember her bubbly personality! My son has type 1 diabetes too, and I'm always praying for a cure. Many condolences to her family. Mandy was a great classmate and friend.
