Not sure what to say?

Our corner Georgian Bay will miss the fantastic Amy Beament. Our warmest condolences to all the family. Love the Dobells

We were so very sorry to learn of your mom/granny's passing. Amy was one of a kind. A passionate woman and a great storyteller. We met Amy almost 40 years ago when our sister Barb became engaged to Alex. At a family gathering, Amy told the story about a homeless man (George?) who lived for years in the Brough garage on Teddington....until he accidentally burnt it down after which he disappeared into the ether. To dear Amy. I will never forget the forest time I met you in the elevator at McMaster university. It all began the of a journey. Being Julie´s roommate was special. Many trips to teddington and stories told. Many special times on Georgian bay. We always had a job to do when we arrived. Was worth it. ! The cocktail hour was always a blast. A beautiful memory for us. You were a very classy lady a special mother grandmother and friend. Now you have left this world which you made so much of and...

So sorry to hear of Amy´s passing. Although so difficult to loose a loved one, so wonderful to know she had a life well lived with a dedicated loving family and friends! I consider myself so blessed to have had the pleasure to know her. Time with Amy was always well spent!!! Rest in peace.

So many memories of the Van Patters and Broughs, on the slopes and to and fro between our cottages on Georgian Bay. Amy´s bigger than life character, voice and laugh are still so clear. I will raise my glass of bubbly on May 6th and join Amy´s family and friends to toast a wonderful lady. My condolences especially to Janet, Alex, Jane and Julie.
