Not sure what to say?

Amy was my 2nd grade teacher 18 years ago when she went by Ms. Burns. For me and many other students at Grove, she was one of those teachers that you remember for a lifetime. I felt so lucky to have her as a teacher that year. She was smart, beautiful, funny, patient, and incredibly kind. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I hope the love and memories shared by family, friends, and the community comfort your family and her sons throughout this difficult time.

Tom, Libby and Family, Please accept our deepest sympathies for the tragic loss of Amy. Paula and Mollie Monroe

Tom and Libby, Erica and I send out deepest heartfelt condolences to you and the entire family. We share fond memories from when the kids were all in grade school and we lived across the street. Erica remembers Amy's epic birthday parties and playing together in the yard. I remember that energetic, active and fun young girl and was proud and impressed to learn that she grew up to teach young children. I am so very sorry for your loss. Laura

Amy was such a joyous and wonderful person. I am so glad to have called her my friend. I feel the lord took an angel too soon as we still needed her with us. Thoughts and prayers to your family and those sweet boys.

Our sympathy to the Burns´ Family. Fond memories of Amy and Paul attending Glenn Elementary and us serving on PTA together. the Hargraves, Jim, Paula, Paul and family

Libby and family, we did not know Amy, but we are Carlock parents that appreciated the Burns family. Our loss was different but we do know how hard it is to lose a daughter suddenly. Our hearts hurt for you. May your faith help you through this journey. We pray for your family.

Words cannot fully express my condolences. I remember playing tennis together throughout our youth. Amy was kind hearted, funny and always had a smile on her face both off and on the court. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. Since I live in Naperville, please contact me if I can assist you (Tom & Bharti) or your nephews in any way. Vicki (Ramseyer) Morrow - classmate of Tom´s at NCHS and Mr. Burns was my counselor.

We are so deeply sorry for what you are going through, and our hearts go out to you and your family. Keeping you in our warmest prayers.
