.... When I think back to adults that made a difference in my life growing up Andre is right up there. His humor, his sage advice & his ability to care about you no matter what was something I have never forgotten. I am certain that countless students will see his photo & immediately feel the same. He was certainly a special educator & human. He spoke so highly of his family, always. I am sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to your family at this sad time. I will treasure our friendship of 60+ years and all the fond memories of family gatherings, Florida trips and many visits through the years. Rest in peace along with my best friend. I love you all, Ern Babe

I worked for Andre at the Naturalizer Shoe Store/ Crystal Mall. He was a very kind and patient man. Wonderful boss!
