Not sure what to say?

Dr. Buni was one of the best professors I ever had. I remember him tossing books to us at the beginning of class - I caught a book with newsclippings on Jim Crow, and I read every book Dr. Buni could possibly assign or suggest on the Black experience in America - his courses truly impacted you with compassion and intellect, and gave an amazing framework for analyzing the world.

Andy did an independent study with me on Jewish Immigration, and my heritage. He was on my Masters Orals Committee along with Cecil Tate, and Dick Hughes -- all three of whom I remember fondly and with gratitude. Larry

Our condolences to Joyce and family. We recall Andy as a smiling and friendly member of our AD Support Group in Watertown.

I miss my uncle Andy. If he were here, he would probably put his arm around me and say "how are ya' kid?" I'm loving the one i miss.

Professor Buni taught courses to both of my parents and (thirty years later) to me on Boston history and neighborhoods. He was a generous and kind person who gave a great deal to the BC community. My thoughts are with his family.

My sincere condolences to the Buni family. Dr. Buni taught me at BC 30 years ago. His History of Boston course was one of my all time favorites. He made a lasting positive impression on many young people. May he rest in peace.
