Connell, Andrew Stephen born on December 19, 1946, died August 4, 2016.

Andy was born to William and Mary Jane Connell in Bremerton, WA. He graduated from Bloomington Lincoln in 1965 and Mankato St. in 1973. He married Vicki Venero in Sleepy Eye on Aug 26, 1972.

Andy is survived by Wife Vicki; Daughters Laura (Tim) Schue, Emily (Shannon) Ziskovsky, Anne; Granddaughters Elizabeth and Katherine Schue; Grandson Samuel Ziskovsky; Father William; Sister Liz; Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces and Nephews.

Andy beat colon cancer in 1999 and was treated most recently for osteoscarcoma of the sacrum. He fought cancer with bravery and with a wonderful sense of humor.

Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM
Peace Lutheran Church,
Coon Rapids, Minnesota

~Visitation~ prior to service 10-11 AM at the Church.

Luncheon to follow.

~Private Interment~

We would like to thank our most awesome support system: friends and neighbors, Pastor Valerie, Dr. Stephen Mann and staff at MN Oncology, and Dr. Peter Rose and Mayo Clinic Staff.

Memorials preferred to Mayo Clinic Osteoscarcoma research, Allina Hospice, and Peace Lutheran Church.
