great guy worked with andy for 30 years in post office he always said ''I LOVE MY JOB' miss u brother

My condolences to the family of "Andy the mailman". "Andy the mailman" was a household name!! I grew up with ONE mailman...Andy; it's not like today where you might have a new mailman every couple of months. Andy delivered mail in Cambridge Estates and I lived there from 1967 to 1978. We (all the kids in the neighborhood) loved to talk and walk with Andy. He made it a point to know each of our names and he was so kind to allow us to slow him down as he delivered our mail. My mother...

Our condolences to the family. Andy was a great neighbor and one of the first to welcome our family when we moved to Saybrook Lane. His "fine like wine" greeting will truly be missed.

Andy the Mailman was the first person to welcome our family to Brookhaven many years ago. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting for everyone. We missed him when he retired. Other people delivered our mail, but no one ever came close to replacing him. Our sincere condolences to his family.

My sincere sympathy to the DeMaio family. Andy was a fine man he had been a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for the past 10 years and drove every Monday. His favorite saying was he was fine like wine, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
