I thought Andy was one of the most personable people I have ever met. Intelligent and outgoing Andy was dedicated to the 106th. I loved him.

I am their niece Julie, (I use to babysit for you both). I was very sad to recently find out that your father passed away in may. your parents were warm,& friendly, just the greatest. Andy D. WAS A FASCINATING PERSON. HE LOVED THE 106TH; HE WAS A CONSCIENTIOUS COMMANDER OF THE SUPPLY SQ. AND EQUALLY IMPORTANT THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED FOR HIM ADMIRED AND LOVED HIM. ANY SOCIAL FUNCTION WHEREIN THE 106TH WAS INVOLVED HE AND HIS WIFE LEE WERE THERE. THE OLD GUARD BALL WAS AN ANNUAL EVENT IN HIS LIFE. HE WAS FUN. GOD BLESS HIS SOUL. BILL MCFADDEN
