I just peeked at Andrew's face book wall last night to say hello and find out how he was doing. It has been a shock to find out he has left us. Last I heard from him was in 2011 (I had married and moved to Atlanta in 2010) and that his was doing much better and his illness was in remission. Obviously, I haven't spoken with my sweetest friend in ages. I'm very angry at myself for not being there for him as he was for me during a though time a few years ago. I cannot stop from crying.
- To his wonderful family, (especially his mother) I sincerely offer deepest condolences.
Andrew, you are one of the finest people I have ever known. You were a fine man, a human being with a heart of gold. I'm fortunate to have met and be your friend, people like you are rare and unique - I have not known many like you. I shall miss you for as long as I live. Thank you for everything you have done, for all your kind words, for your true caring soul. Thank you for being there for me when I most needed your friendship.
Rest in peace my dearest friend. Until we meet again...

So sorry to hear about Andy's passing. I first worked with him when he was on the banking side over 20 years ago and we always exchanged pleasantries when we encountered each other over the years.

Although I wouldn't say Andy & I were close friends, we knew each other in HS, sat on the Student Council together. I always knew he was destined for great things. He was taken from this Earth and his family far too soon. There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I hope you find comfort & strength in one another's love. RIP Andy!

Andrew and I were close friends, attending Chicago GSB together and traveling abroad together throughout Vienna and Italy. Andrew was always energetic, vibrant, and generous with his time and insights. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Have known Andy from his childhood days in Stickney. He was a great kid and appears to have grown into an even greater man who has left his imprint on many. May his struggles be over and may he be in a better place resting peacefully. My prayers and sympathies to his family and friends. His legacy will live on through all of you.

I have fond memories of Andrew's visit to London & our trip to Vienna. I will never forget the lifelong Wimbledon lesson he taught me about the human race. I'm grateful for his genuine friendship & amazing kindness. To Peggy and Vicky, March 31st was the last time Andy and I would ever speak in this plane of existence. We shared a nearly a half an hour phone call (23:57 min). They say laughter is the best medicine. Although my comedy is no cure for cancer, in the end, at least I was able give Andy laughter to take with him. My condolences. Andy, as I said on the phone when we said good-bye, "Good Luck in your new location my friend."

Was very sorry to hear the cancer came back. Andy was a great guy. We went to MBA school together. He made fast and lasting friendships. I will remember his laugh and smile. We had some very fun times together. He will be missed.

I always remember Andy's huge smile. It served as his ambassador, introducing a man with an arms-wide-open big personality.
I have prayed for Andy and the family ever since finding out about his illness. I know that he has found his found his final rest in the loving arms of our Lord.
