Andrew Seaton Holt III

I first heard of Andy Holt when I was in kindergarten at the Governor Morehead School for the Blind. Over many years I and other blind and low vision people heard about his accomplishments in judo, wrestling, and later as a business man. I could write much more, but I want to let everyone know that Andy set a standard of excellence for many people soldiering through life as blind people. One of my favorite memories is when Uncle Andy came to visit my dad and we went to a club called the Sandpiper I was maybe 20 years old. We danced several times and he was so happy. He always called me on my birthday. He wouldn´t say Happy Birthday he would sing it. Iloved him very much and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins. RIP Uncle Andy.
